ok, my bow was making a creaking sound when i pulled back, so i was in my basement trying to see what it was. so i just pulled it back with my fingers and i accidently dry fired. no damage i think just the string is frayed. its a a pse bow madness, should i take it to cabelas or can i ship to main pse dealer

You can do either. I would suggest taking it to a local pro shop and have them check it over. The frayed string might be the only obvious damage. You could have bent axles or cracked a limb without being aware of it.

I'd get it checked out before you shot it again for sure. If you've got a STS on it then that might have saved the bow from blowing up. If nothing else, I'd bet you're peep is oblong now. Not sure what you mean by a frayed string, but if ANY strands busted, replace it.

Why would it cost anything. I'm pretty certain that PSE bows are warranted, right?
