Default Shoot or pass?

Here is the situation:

You are in your stand and a nice 8 point buck comes cruising in. He stops at 25 yards but some of his vitals are behind a tree branch. The only open vital to your vantage point is the liver. Do you shoot or pass?

Also this would be your only shot opportunity on the deer.

I would pass as well Rory. I am curious to see what everyone else would do in this situation.

I want a good shot at the vitals or I pass.

I passed a 160-170 buck at 12 yards last year because the shot was not there.

I also had a friend that shot a 200+" Buck in the neck this year because it was the only shot he had. He hit the jugular, Dead Deer.

I still wouldn't take that shot

Here's a pic of the 200+" buck. I cropped the shooter out because I didn't want to post his pic.

It really was an Awesome Buck, and he is a 300 class shooter, so who am I to question his shot selection.

He killed the Buck!

Pass. I'd pass on the neck shot on that buck pictured too.

Me too Christine!!but I shook his hand a gave him congrats. He said he was aiming at the jugular and that's where he hit.

I told him I wouldn't have took the shot. I don't think he cared!![8D]
