I don't have issues shooting deer out to 50 yards with my range finder. If the deer is in the right position (Non-Alert) and the wind is very minimal.
I guess what I've learned here is that I shouldn't worry about having a lighter set-up. Who cares aboutmore tradjectory out to 50 yards with the heavier arrow...Its getting the right KE with my set-up that counts.

Nice looking rig!
I went the opposite direction on arrow weight with my DXT. I went to 300 deflection shafts, a 125 grain head and a 100 grain insert to get the arrow weight up to 560 grains. They're flat going through whatever they hit from mt. goat to moose! And they'll hit where they're pointed out to 60 yards without difficulty, cause less wear and tear on the bow andmade ita lot quieter.
