Default Just bought the hoyt reflex bighorn

Well... From Christmas I had 260 bux in cabelas gift certificates. I headed over there on hoping to buy a new bow. I looked at all of the bows and the Hoyt Reflex Bighorn was the only one I really liked and was in my price range... Its very light and has a fairly easy draw, 60-70 #

I brought it home and put all of the gear from my old 40# bow on there..... Today I shot it and I like it a lot. The only thing I dontlike is the loud vibration noise....It shoots real good at 320 fps.

What are your guys experiences with this bow? How do you like it? Deer pics shot with this bow? Recomended set up?

For that noise issue, try Limbsavers vibration dampeners. I hear they work well. They fit around the limb near the cams.

Mike,
That's a decent "entry level" bow, gonna be tough as nails because it's made by Hoyt, a little on the heavy side, but certainly a capable bow in the right hands. I think you mis-typed a little not sure what you meant, but that bow's IBO speed is only 300-305 fps, and that would be it's very FASTEST expected speed. Put a decent stabilizer on it and maybe and STS, and a lot of the vibration will be muffled out. Congrats on the new bow, enjoy it!!!
