You're getting some good advice here, I'll add my 2 cents. First, I'm glad your interested in getting started in bowhunting, and I hope your interest continues to grow. NOTHING will discourage you faster than getting the wrong equipment, and there is virtually no way you can set yourself up properly without first time help from a good pro shop. There are a ton of variables to deal with, a good shop will be a lifesaver to you. You definetly do not need to go top line right from the start. An in-expensive bow/arrows/etc. that fit you right will always shoot better for you than a $600.00 bow that doesn't. Most bow companies offer different price options, do some hands on homework, and ask questions anytime. Good luck!
