If you could pick one state to whitetail hunt next year, what state would you choose? Tag availabilty/cost not a factor, just one state that you could hunt, your choice. I'd choose Ohio, far enough from home that I actually felt like I went "away" and the quality of deer taken lately have been impressive.

I'm going back to IL because of what I experience this year. I have paybacks to make on a certain veteran whitetail if he's there or not!

I love hunting New York, i hate the season, and theres no over abundance of big bucks, but once I get into that stand none of that matters. I sure do like my time out here...

I'd have to say Kansas. It's got my Interest and I may have an Invitation out there next year from a certain HNI'er. We'll see.

There are lots of places I'd like to get to.

MN/Kyle, I agree, that area of the Milk seems like it would be a dynamite place to hunt.

I wouldn't mind finding a good outfitter in Indiana as well. Illinois and Kansas get a ton of exposure, for good reason, but I have seen some exceptional bucks coming out of Indiana.

I'll play along...Iowa..but I really love hunting here in Va if the weather is good and the woods are calm from all deer hounds...I like my chances here for big bucks just as good as anywhere else..
