Not quite sure which one you are talking about, the MX4 or the standard 100 grain 4 blade. I have not shot the MX4 but have used the standard old 4 blade and have had good results. They were easy to tune my bow to as well. This year I shot the 3 blade, 125 grain with excellent results. I could not be happier.

I have the MX4 i think. I haven't went out bow hunting yet because I just bought my bow in Sept. and wanted to wait. But I might go out soon and see if there is anything where I hunt.

I love the Muzzy 4 blade 100's I shot them for years on my old compound Killed a few with them. Two nice does fell to them here in ohio one of which was a heart shot the other was lungs. The blood trails were awesome. The heart shot a blind man could have follow that trail... I didn't take pics but the heart had a perfect X through it.

The other doe ran farther but left blood all over the place. Easy to find her.

I have a buddy that uses the 90 grain 4 blades with awesome success....he's put many deer down over the years...I always shot the three blade heads until I got slick tricks this year...

Before I bought a bow and all the accessories I researched which braod heads and everything and thought that since the muzzy 4 has 4 blades that it would be better. And all the reviews abouts the broad were good so I bought them at dicks and are going to use them and see how well they do here in a couple of weeks.

2 3 4 5 6 blades I don't think that matters other than a 2 blade cut on contact will out penatrate multiple blade heads most of the time. Muzzy 4 blade heads fly just like my feild tips because yhey are pretty compact. Acuracy is more inportant. The 4 blade has the advantage of more surface area to cut. But with that it takes more energy to go through the deer. Most bows have plenty for a muzzy.

Point is there is plent of great heads out there. But muzzy's are prety proven. And if they fly good for you they will work good for killind deer
