How to tell draw weight without a machine?
My bow is maxed out at 70 and I want to lower it to 65 pounds so i can shoot these new arrows i got. Is there a way to tell how many turns with the allen wrench it takes to lower it 5 pounds?

It's usually about 3# per turn for most bows. Assume for the sake of arguement that your bow is 71# maxed. Take two turns off the limbs and you should be at 65#, give or take a pound.
Some guys think it variesd due to thread differences in the limb bolts, but this is not true. All 3/8" limb bolts have the same thread pattern. There can be some differences in limb construction or design, but 3# is pretty common.

If you are trying to get the weight down to accomodate the spine of your new arrows then I would just do a re-tune (you probably should anyway) of the bow. Setup up centershot, turn down the limbs and start tuning. Then, instead of adjusting your rest left or right just adjust the poundage up or down until your arrows are flying correctly. Then everything will be setup to work together.
