you don't need a new bow at all, I have one b/c I like to shoot the new bows better than my old ones...they are just smoother and more accurate....but they don't need to be used to get the job done...

Smoother..... I will say yes, but accurate I will say that falls on the shooter.

Look at the animals that Fred Bear shot with the equipment he used. Are we below him in hunting standards due to the fact of the "Cadillacs" we now shoot today?

My bow was once expensive, now its not worth much. Not sure where I stand.

Old school works just fine for me...The old school Mathews single cam is still getting her done for me!!

my bow is only 200 dollars and i have taken about 6 deer in the past 3 seasons

I shoot Hoyt but all company's make a good bow.

I've been saying this for years! I took my biggest buckwith my old bow and haven't come close to it since I switched to the newer ones. Next year, I'm going back to "Old Faithful"
