The only thing missing in this thread is a chicken, not a chicken sandwich or chicken noodle soup, but a small Rhode Island red that distracted you just enough and caused all of this unwarranted destruction. That or you just Oded on night quill and its all just a bad dream and will all be gone when you wake up.

Hmmmmmm, sounds like you were going up/down a river or stream to reach your destination and:

a. tailgate came down and dented the boat
b. bow fell out of truck onto boat ramp destroying bow
c. towmotor hit truck tearing it up

And being you have the flu it just all made everything a horrible day. Easy to say this now but you should have stayed home[&:]. Best of luck to you Germ and hope you get to feeling better.
Coug... my version is funnier than yours.[8D]

I was exhausted driving home from Pennsylvania one time after smallmouth fishing with my buddy. Somehow 3 of my poles and reels got dislodged. I noticed something sticking up in my rear view mirror. As soon as I noticed it, the 3 set ups flew out of my tailgate as I watched in horror. Just then an 18 wheeler rode over my poles and reels and shattered them into a million pieces. Over $500 in damage in a split second...I wanted to kill myself.

I FEEL your pain Germ......that sucks!
