Me too. Don't let the signature fool you, bow hunting has become my main squeeze but it ain't over til it's over! Bow season here in Michigan runs until January 1st. I have to compete with the muzzle loaders but with thier fair share of misfires due to the cold it should be pretty much even steven!

Anyone else crazy enough to bow hunt in 20 degree weather or less?

Unreal. Just get over it. You "THINK" the law is... well you're just as bad, you shoud know before you start out. Cut the guy some slack. You contradict yourself every other post. The guy killed the deer. You didn't. He wins.

About the hunting within 300 feet of the house, and I should know the rules. WELL I've never thought to Myself I'm gonna hunt of My back porch! The guy Who killed it told Me He shot it off of His back porch. You guys are kinda misunderstanding Me. I know the neighbor Who killed it really well. I've never had a problem with Him, and still don't. I didn't say it was MY buck. I said I was bummed that He got it instead of Me. Anyone would be bummed, hunting from the first of season uncountable amount of times for uncountable amount of hours. Then as gun season comes in Your neighbor shoots it off the back porch. I'm happy for Him. I'm not sure what I need to get over. I was just venting, because gun season was in..... Just some of the ways the gun hunters do. Again I'm not saying all. I'm just talking about the guys who hunt once a year, and shoot at anything that moves. I'm going to stop talking before someone else takes My words out of context.

I understand what your going through but there's not much one can do about It. I've had It happen countless times here In Minnesota. Like a few have said, pick your words a little more wisely next time.

What the hell are you upset about? Let me guess......You're upset because another hunter killed a deer? No wait, this wasyour deer huh? I'm sorry, I must have missed the part where you wrote how you raised this deer from a fawn only to have it bust loose from it's pen and run over the the neighbor's land to be gunned down by those darn "shoot anything that moves" gun hunters.[:@]

What the heck gives you more of a right to kill that deer over your neighbor? Why because it was killed by a gun hunter. Oh no wait, you said that both you and your dad had a "close encounter" with this particular deer. Well then, that explains everything, those darn neighbors should have known that that deer was off limits, how dare they? I know that when I'm on my property and a 150in deer comes running by the first thing I ask myself is "I wonder if someone else is hunting this deer".

No, you have every reason in the world to hate the gun season, all it does is allow other hunters to kill deer.....and how is that fair to you?

I'm not even going to explain Myself again. If You BigJ71 knew how to read You would have read all the posts, and seen that I needed to word it a little better. I didn't know there were going to be a bunch of those 1 day gun hunters attack Me for miswording something.

Well obviously you have no clue as to who I am, my education level or my hunting rituals. All I did was read your opening post. I didn't need to read further because as soon as folks started to call you out on your stupid rant you started a backstroke that would be the envy of Michael Phelps. No I read you loud and clear. You're a young kid who needs to take a step back and realize that the world doesn't revolve around your hunting and that there are others who enjoy hunting just as much as you no matter what they decide to hunt with.
