I have never seen them close together. I did not really think they would try to harm a deer/fawn. I was just curious how deer react to them and their scent. Thanks for the replies. Oh, and the hide idea may not be such a bad idea. I really want another sighting of the blonde yote I had at 15yds a couple months ago. I believe I would fork out the funds to have it mounted. Rare around here.

And 2 racoons, Steve.

First light and they were all there, together. I never thought much about the does (4-5 of them), but I thought the coons would be afraid of the fox (at first....then it took about 1 second to think better of that).....lol. Everybody kinda held their ground, though....and the fox was the first to split.

Funniest one was the Hawk/Squirrel standoff a couple weeks ago at a distance of.....ohhhh....about 6 INCHES.
LOL! True that. I used to think Coons were teddy bears...until I saw one fight a hound 2x his size with 2 .22 bullets in him. I will NOT mess with a coon...nor would that wimpy fox.

I saw a nice 8 pointer come down the same trail that a yote took about an hour earlier. I don't think a fox would bother a deer.

I've seen them 15yds apart, feeding.
Hmmm...didn't know that Fox liked grain and grass so much....

Fox don't bother deer at all. I use fox piss for cover scent. I have had bear walk by and then deer 15 min later. If a bear doesn't bother them then how would a fox?

I see tons of red fox while hunting and there has never been an issue between them and deer. I’ve had them in the presence of each other many times with just a passing glance and that’s all.
