Red Fox?
Not Mr. Sanford of TV fame.:D
Do you guys think a Red Fox would have ill effects on your hunt? If he used the deer trail 10 minutes before prime time? Thanks, LT |
RE: Red Fox?
None whatsoever. I've seen them on the same trail within 5 minutes of each other, about 4-5 years ago.

RE: Red Fox?
Deer, or bear? No.
Turkeys, yes[:@] |
RE: Red Fox?
I could have shot the little bugger with my bow, but opted not too because of spooking deer. I have already taken one with my bow, but this was a bigger fox. Beautiful. If I had the funds to throw away for a mount I would have taken him maybe.

I've seen them 15yds apart, feeding.

RE: Red Fox?
I don't think It makes a difference LT. Not to long ago my brother got a couple of red fox on his cuddeback and about 20 minutes later some doe's and fawns came through also.

RE: Red Fox?

RE: Red Fox?
And 2 racoons, Steve.
First light and they were all there, together. I never thought much about the does (4-5 of them), but I thought the coons would be afraid of the fox (at first....then it took about 1 second to think better of that).....lol. Everybody kinda held their ground, though....and the fox was the first to split. Funniest one was the Hawk/Squirrel standoff a couple weeks ago at a distance of.....ohhhh....about 6 INCHES.:D |
