OK, heres what I think the problem is with some people and Rage2 Blades. So most of you'll on here shoot Compounds/regular bows am I right? Well my theory is you'll dont like them because you bows do not generate enough KE for the blades to do the job. I have a crossbow, and it doesn't seem to be a problem for me. I think thats the problem. Not enought KE. But I just thought I'd post that....

I shot a 6 point at 35 yards with a Rage 2 . Double lung complete pass through .
I doubt that One shotkill even knows how to figure Kinetic Energy ..............

Ihad Rage 2 blades on my arrows earlier this season, didn't get to use them, but a friend I was hunting with did. Going back to fixed blades... HisRage 2 bladeSNAPPED in half (not just a blade, the whole broadhead). The arrow went in about 2 inches on the carbon shaft. Yes, it wasn't a "perfect" shot, (hit in shoulder blade), but I have done that with fixed blades and blew through the shoulder into lungs. And about KE, have PLENTY of it to hunt ANY North American big game, so a whitetail should fit into that category.

I shoot a 30-06 rifle.. and I hit one monster buck in the left hoove.. Darn thing made it too.. didnt die or nuthinnnnn.. I'm going to switch to a 7mm or a grenade launcher nowwwww..

Ummmm sometimes you need to take the blame off the EQUIPMENT and look at the tool behind the weapon. i'm sure you're friend figures NONE of the blame was that he hit the deer in one of the worst possible spots, fixed head, expandable head, or exploding head, I dont care. You hit the shoulder 9 times out of 10 you're in deep donkey dung. For those who "blow" through shoulders, I'd like to see it.
