yah, my wife was a match and a friend of the family. I didn't want my wife to have to go through it after having our girl 4 months ago, so the friend was a better match. I'm hopeful things will go well.

I'm sorry, but this is kinda embarrassing. I don't know what dialysis is and I can't figure out what you have to have transplanted.

But I hope your going to be ok (whatever is going on with you). And hope youcan still get into the woods!

If you google renal failure and hemodialysis, there's alot of good info out there. Especially about becoming a living donor for someone who needs a kidney. Some people have no idea what others go through while on dialysis for years, just waiting for a donor kidney. A healthy person can live off of one kidney.
