Default Late Season?

We'll gun season started this weekend and only lasts 2 weeks here in MD. So after mid december I think I'm going to get some late season hunting in, anybody else do any late season bow hunting??

My season is open till the end of jan, so I'm going to try to get a wall hanger down if I can find one that makes it through the season. I think my strategy will switch to hunting winter food sources, and make an effort to hunt the really cold days... I've got two weeks off for christmas so I should get some good hunts in.

Default RE: Late Season?

FYI- Deer movement actually increases during the winter on the WARMEST days. This conserves much needed energy and decreases their metabolism. But they will hit food sources earlier in the day on the coldest days.
