ORIGINAL: GMMAT

I just called the guy and told him to save it for me. I can take it by my taxi and he'll tell me. The assistant at our shop is also a scorer for P&Y and he does this stuff, too.

Just interested. His head looks like an older deer's....and a 95+" rack on a 6 point 2.5yr old (again...around here) just seems like a stretch. I keep wishing I'd looked to see if anything had been broken off. But honestly....I didn't pay much attention.

I'm not gonna play him up. He looked like a 2.5yr old's body, to me. I just wonder how much he could have run himself down. He was still chasing, yesterday.

I mean......Is this a roman nose, or what??

It's weird trying to guess ages on your deer.......he LOOKS like a scaled down midwestern 3yr old in his face and body but has mass in his rack like an average2yr old which makes it goofy for me to guess.??

He definitely does NOT have a 'Roman nose" though, you'll know a Roman nosed deer when you see it and it's a characteristic of a much older deer. He's got a good old straight face dished nose.

Matt/DT....others...I stand corrected on the roman nose thing. I was il-informed.

He fools me, Matt. I see the body (in its' state, right now) and I say 2.5. Everything else (rack size, head, mass) tells me he might be a bit older (foe here....those characteristics).

It'll be interesting to find out. Worst case scenario still has me tickled to death.

Matt....Is this a better example of a roman nose?

I'll think of him for MANY years to come....and recall the hunt/season with a lot of satisfaction

Jeff, I don't think any one stresses maturity as a trophy factor more than you.How many post have you made about a mature doe being the greatest of trophy's?
That buck has every thing but age going for him with age he could of become legendary.
I tell you he's great, yet you deny it.[>:]

None.

I don't have the luxury of shooting 130" 2.5 yr olds. Age structure IS important to me.I don;t think anyone takes more pissy potshots at me than you. What's your point?

Don't you have some leftovers you need to devour? Why don't you just keep your negative posts out of my threads? Seriously.

LOL, Jim......he's the 4th largest buck I've seen from stand in over 200 sits spanningthe better part of 4 seasons. Forgive me ig I send an arrow his way....lol.

I denied he was great? Nevermind. You're not worth it. Don't answer that. Just go away.
