ORIGINAL: MichaelHunsucker I'm sure the last thing you guys want to hear is me complain, but this has been the worst season that Shawn and I have ever had in Missouri. With the properties we hunt and as much time as we put in scouting, videoing, hanging stands, and hunting we have no excuse not to have AT LEAST one buck on the ground. We didn't see our first shooter from the stand untill just last week and he wasn't even close to bow range. We have hunted over 30 sits just in November and have nothing to show for it. In the passed two years shawn and I have killed a total of 8 bucks in MO...it's just unbelievable to me that we cannot manage to get just ONE on the ground this year. Anyway...since our luck was so terrible and since we had been seeing a ton of does on our farm, we decided to go out and do some herd reduction. Wouldnt you know it after having a shot opportunity at a doe nearly every sit in November, we didn't have a single doe even close! Tonight, to top it all off we headed in to one of our better spots to check our trail camera and get in the tree and guess what! Our trail cam had been stolen! What a sack punch just to top it all off. I'm ready for fall of 2009.. [&o] AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW poor baby!!!!!! [:-] You are joking .... just a way to rub noses in all your success ....right? Dont worry man. I know exactly how ya feel. this has been one of the goffiest seasons I have have seen in MO.

I feel your pain. I know the hard work you have exibited in Mo and I know this is what you are refering to with no dividends paid. It is like the stock market, one stock (state) pays good while another fails. Keep at it, it will prosper.
