Default Inner City Monsters - I saw a Monster! Detroit,MI!

(Please spend a moment to read this)

A non hunting area....

Today I left the manufacturing facility of Daimler Benz( Detroit Diesel )(Where I work)Smack dab in the middle of Detroit / Redford Area. For those that don't know this would be like being in down town Chicago.

I saw the biggest buck I have ever seen in my life...This buck made me shake harder then the 150+ 10 pointer I lost with my long bow.

My Story - I pull out onto outer drive (1PM)broke down houses everywhere...this is h$oker country.. ...I cross over the rail road tracks and I see something in the front yard...I glance over...OMG!!..I slam on my brakes...This deer was 250+lbs... the hair on it was 4 inches long...it looked like someone soaked him in water and sprayed him off with a blow dryer...It all happened quickly...but he was carrying 5 on each side and kicker brow tines that went 9 inches..He was 14 points +.....His rear tines were easy 11+..this deer was 22 + inside...I can't even explain to you how huge he was...He was easily 170+ and he had kickers in the rear going EVERYWHERE!!!...and I just did not have enough time to gather it all..when I hit the brakes all the cars behind me scared him off...He was totally relaxed...just grazing in a high crime area...full blown Detroit...!!! I heard stories from guys at work.."there's monsters" across the street... Today I learned it...He was like a bull...And he carried himself like a pet animal...but his horns were like something I've never seen...I swear...this thing has me nuts right now...and I've seen many bucks in my 22 years...LOG IT IN YOUR BRAIN....INNER CITY BUCKS GROW OLD...AND ADAPT...

FACT: Monster Bucks grow old and adapt..in the inner cities of Detroit...

This buck was 6 1/2 + A Bull...He would have shredded the 150 + buck I saw in 1995...I'd give a weeks pay for you guys to have seen this buck just hanging out in downtown Detroit like everything was cool....UNREAL..My Blackberry doesn't take pictures....what a shame..

I believe It Brian. The suburbs of the Twin Cities In Minnesota have some extraordinary bucks that I know would challenge P&Y State and World records. No gun hunting Is allowed In these area's and some bow hunting Is allowed to keep the population In check.

One of the biggest buck's I've ever seen was in the middle of town. Chased a doe through Wal-Mart's parking lot.

Every morning on my way to work (Twin Cities) I'd drive south on I 35 and just south of Lino Lakes, I'd see HUGE bucks. Easily P AND Y in the same grass field. It was un real.

I saw my biggest buck ever two weeks ago in Ohio, standing in the middle of a back road. Sounds just like they one you describe but had two unbelieveable droptines. Just like you i was not prepared whatsoever for that encounter. still bothers me because i had two cameras in my truck but couldnt find either.

There is a place in St. Joe, MI that is like this. I was told that the prosecution is high. The land owner would prosecute to the fullest if he caught anyone. I watched several P&Y and just wished.
