RE: Rage customer service
ORIGINAL: *JB* Oh yea. It was something about customer service, and if the product was good; customer service wouldn't have to be, and Jeff is looking for a new head because he can't get a passthru with a Rage, and if your young you are lazy, and if your not 44 you haven't learned anything about customer service, and if you only gross $15K how do you afford equipment and a truck, and something about baseball, and ............HELL I don't know. |
RE: Rage customer service
Can I be awesome....[&o]
On another note, Kyle is certainly not awesome. Teejay, you got me...that made me laugh out loud. That looked dead up like an A-man post. :D |

ORIGINAL: TeeJay That was so Atlasman! I didnt even read it! lol ORIGINAL: TEmbry Aaron, I'm not saying I didn't act out of line, but my comments on what I do had nothing to do with customer service (not sure where that came from, they all started with the condescending remarks...such as.... And I didn't even have to say....."My daddy bought it!"[8D] My son, too, mows a few yards for his spending money. I know. I bought his lawn mower. I bought his leaf blower. "His" business, I suppose....but ....well....you know;). See Trev....there are exceptions. Let's break your business down. You make less than $15K a year (GROSS)....but you're still able to buy equipment (in its' entirety.....and out of pocket, no less!)/Fuel/business license(s)/Insurance(s)/All of your hunting equipment (and I know you have a Hoyt and a Benelli....lol)/etc..., etc..., etc... and STILL have the wherewithall to save $9K to put on a truck? Is your last name Iacocca? You're a freakin' financial WHIZ! I was gonna play professional baseball when I was your age. Just pointing out just where I was coming from. right or wrong, its done. I try not to deal with the Mrs. Elms of the neighborhood. Factory owners are much easier to please...no petunias to bother with. Ok, now I have to say....the heck with all you guys and your group hugs, my vote is for EI's girlfriend! She looks like a top notch customer service rep! ;)[8D] |

RE: Rage customer service
I dont think you have to be "old" to know about customer service. All you need to be is a consumer.
Its simple-they stand behind the product and take care of the customer or they dont. Im sure Trevor has figured that out from running his business. |

RE: Rage customer service
Can someone explain to me what could be hard to understand about customer service? I mean how much life experience does one need to grasp customer service on any level? I'm just saying.;)
It was good customer service for Rage totake care of you, they should have. Maybe they could divert some of their profitsto their Quality Assurance department in the future to eliminate the need for product replacement due to defects. Again, I'm just saying.;) For the record I still plan on trying them next season. |

Back to your original post. How long have you had these heads? How many times have they been shot? How many people do you think call their customer service each day asking for new heads just to try to get free ones? They will replace them all you have to do is send them in. Are you upset because they are not giving into the almighty Jeff?I've watched your posts for quite some time and I usually never comment to your absurd posts. RE: Rage customer service
Ok I'm got a question for you Jeff
Rage 2 blade, I have bought three packs and one replacement blade pack this year. I stripped screws out of one of the BHs when trying to change the blades so I said screw it and and just started buying brand new ones. The one pack of heads I bought last year were great. I only had one other problem besides the stripped screw: My BH blade tips were dull strait out of the package. Almost like it was a practice tip. One in a new pack of heads and one in the replacement blades. The other two packs of heads were fine. Have you (or anyone else) had this problem? This may have been discussed already in this thread but I'm at work and don't have thirty min to go through it. Didn't want to start a new thread either cause you already had this one going. Hope thats ok. Edit: Wow, just read the whole thread . It isn't much about broadheads is it? ![]() |

Ahhhhh the warm and fuzzy customer service debate. :D:D:D

RE: Rage customer service
Does a truly great product rally need customer service? Or would money spent on quality control be a wiser investment. Or are they marketing a product that is not meant for mere mortals to tamper with?
Have any of you heard similar complaints with Acme's new and improved atom smasher?[:-] |
RE: Rage customer service
ORIGINAL: bawanajim Does a truly great product rally need customer service? Last weekend when I released an arrow at a buck, my cam hit the rail on my tree stand. It was completely my fault. I told that to the bow manufacturer and as I expected, it was not covered under warranty. They are replacing my cam and giving the whole bow once over to make sure nothing else was cracked. All for just the cost of shipping. Now THATS customer service. |

They are replacing my cam and giving the whole bow once over to make sure nothing else was cracked. All for just the cost of shipping. Now THATS customer service. The company budgets a certain amount of $$$ for customer service. Seems like customer service is what Compound Archers and other Archery Product customers demand. So that is what they get. However these dollars budgeted for customer service is built into the product price and shared by all customers. I'd pretty much be willing to bet that if the company did not budget these inflated $$$ to customer service they would loose customers. They want your business so they supplysuperior customer service. But don't think you didn't pay for it. ;) Now, to me, if I had the same bow as you, I may (but proably not, I have better things to be upset about :D) be a little upset that I helped pay for your new cam. ;) Forgot to mention the free advertising that they got (and probably expect). |
RE: Rage customer service
ORIGINAL: TEmbry Now how do you beat that? Not need the customer service in the first place.[8D] Keep up the hard work and congrats on getting a scholarship with brains. That will get you a lot further in the long run. |

Hey 2lunger (aka - POT)......nice to meet you!
I've already admitted that everyone knows everything at 17. It goes downhill, from there. My kid's almost 17.....lol. I use that fact for "perspective" on who I'm talking to. He works for his money, too.....but I still have to tell him to clean his room....and he's still enamored every time 'Cops' comes on....and thinks the axe commercials are 'gospel'. :D |

RE: Rage customer service
Not everyone is like your kid, obviously.
I'm curious as to what age one come wise enough to know about customer service? Trevor made a remark on the first post, that pissed you off, because he was right. It does beat that. Age and experiance, oh so different. (everyone in this thread is still awesome) |
RE: Rage customer service
Man, that is some good stuff guys. Thank you for keeping a smile on my face for the last half hour!! :)
