40 is not cold. It's just a promise of cold. LOL Our high today is a balmy 29 with a low of 19. Perfect hunting weather.
The little snow on the ground doesn't hurt either.

40 deg! Thats like summer here In NE. I been out hunting when it's -5 and snowing before. I shot onein norther Missourione time that was frozen solid and could stand it up on it's legs a hour after I shot it with a 65 lb recurve bow at 57paces from my tree. I have hunted asomemorning all ready this year in the teens. The morning I got my buck it was 20 deg . I'm planning to go afterthe gunseason and I will have some days around 0 to hunt in I'm sure.

Va....we have 1/2 inch of snow here today , and 35 out right now in NW Va...winds are starting to kick up, but I stillwish I could head out this afternoon [&:]
