Isn't it nice when a plan comes together?

Yeah, except the original plan was to shoot a few nice bucks.

did you all call each other before the morning hunt?;-)
Nope. When all you own is Predator, it's pretty certain what you're going to wear from one day to the next.

John,
This is Matt logged in under Greg's screenname..........thank you again for your hospitality and friendship. That was a great trip on some awesome property and really was the equivalent ofa mini "outfitter" type hunt and a real treat for a guy like me who doesn't get to see that type of stuff everyday.
THANK YOU.
I still can't believe I FINALLY get my 130"+ 8pt to stand still smack in front of my treestand completely oblivious in a "can't miss" shooting position and he only has one side. THAT my friend is the story of my deer hunting life.

I think we just missed it by a couple days.........but hey at least we all got "aired out" a bit. [:-]
I'm a little upset that I didn't get a chance to do a cartwheel or my best Saturday Night Fever pose in front of the trail cam.

Don't forget to forward along the gutpile pics![:-]

You are very welcome, I had a great time too. I can't wait to see what shows up on the gut pile. I know it will be an interesting card to pull later this week. Maybe I'll have a "Heart Attack Buck" like the Drury's got on a gut pile.

It's a Gray Wolf Fall Gray radar cap but it's (I think?) discontinued or maybe a one of a kind.......called a Snowsmasher cap. It's cotton but lined with thinsulate and maybe comformax.
Picked it up for Matt on Jeff's website for $4. He seems to really like it.
