Atlasman, I' ll reword my post a little , as I wanted to express my opinion but not sound irretated ! But I was ,after all the ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz, BOOOOORRRIINNGG, and the third post of yours on one thread regarding the limb pockets . You seemed to be on a mission to express how unimpressed you are with the limb pockets ! One time would have been fine !
Cmon dude don' t be so sensitive. On a mission??? Why is it that no one......and I mean NO ONE can take even the slightest negative statement about Mathews??
I don' t understand.
I said I thought Bowtech slowed a little bit this year too and I also said that I thought the lower brace height of the Extreme VFT and just putting out the Patriot again would not inspire current Patriot owners to want a new one. A couple Bowtech loyal shooters pointed out that the Patriot dually offered a lot more new stuff then people may realize. Fair enough.......They new I wasn' t bashing Bowtech or the Patriot as bad equipment or taking a shot at Bowtech as a company. All I said was Hoyt raised the bar and has everyone talking, and wanting the cam 1/2.
This thread is getting sidetracked before it even starts............for no reason.
It' s a simple question and we should all be able to have a little fun with it giving opinions as to why we voted the way we did........without people taking offense as if we were telling mother jokes or something.

I am sorry for my misunderstanding i thought you ment to say king of the bow kill instead of king of the bow hill
No problem man.........I was a little confused and thought I was missing your joke

Just trying to have a little fun while it is still too cold to shoot much outside and the season seems like forever away.

I' ll have to agree with Matt re: the Patriot Dually. It is a much improved bow, when compared to the 02 Pat. Weight, grip, speed, balance, all improved. People that only take a shot or two complain about the valley being short. The thing is, it is different from what most people are used to in a single cam bow. After shooting for awhile, you become accustomed to it. And I can' t explain it, but the Duallys hit like a truck. Much harder than I expected for the draw weight (mine is 55#). The Pat Dually isn' t the only innovative bow this year from BowTech. I' m still voting for BowTech.

While most companies have come with different ideas this year.
Some good some not so good but IMO the only 2 companies that listened to their customers was Bowtech and Hoyt.
Pinwheel12 said a while back that if they keep the current trend then they would re invent the dual cam and both these companies are doing just that.
There is no other company that is looking after us draw lenght challanged people like Bowtech has.
Yes I have the Pat Dually and yes I sold my 02 Pat to get the new Dually and now I have a Pro40 Dually on order in target colors for 3d.
What other companies can claim to have a kids bow that will do 256 - 262?
They also brought out another version of the BK2 just for short draw shooters still with speed to burn.
BT also brought out the LadyHawk a grown up version of the Rascal for female archers.
So I guess my vote is still going for Bowtech.
But I am not ragging any other company as just about all companies these days makes quality bows.
Its just that Bowtech and Hoyt are the only ones listening to their customers and to me thats what is important.[8D]

I will " buck the trend" and go with a short response.
It should be no surprise that I think Hoyt should get the " King of the Hill" award for this year. The Cam.5 system is relatively innovative....and when you throw in Hoyt' s quality and design then you find a sure thing for most folks.
I just wonder who is going to be next year' s " King of the Hill" .

I shoot a Hoyt Ultratec and haven' t shot a nicer bow yet. BUT , that said , I dont think I could honestly consider them " king of the hill" from an innovation point of view considering the cam.5 credit belongs to Darton.
I was at a proshop a few weeks ago that sells both Hoyts and Dartons and the owner said that Hoyt is paying royalties to Darton for the cam.5
