Did API Go Out Of Business?

I am in the same boat as David now...
...but I was thinking of a Summit. I have not heard of these Big shot/Hot Shot models. Anyone care to help me out some?

PABowhunter: The company is Buckshot. They have several models. Len uses one and has tried them all. We also use their hang on model with the brackets. The climbers come in 3 basic modes. The Bigshot and Bigshot Magnum are made with a wrap around top section. They are extremely roomy and have the most comfortable seat going. They also have a ton of accesories to choose from. The Hotshot is their bowhunter model with the open front. It has arms that extend out front built in that allow you to sit facing the tree if you desire. The seats are 3 positional. Normal, facing the tree and at a slant for the guy that wants to be close to standing but take some of the weight off his feet. They are all based on the older style with knobs and bars around back. The knobs are always attached and can' t be easily lost. They have a new model with cables in rubber.... but after testing it quite a bit in the woods Len favors the old bar type. He finds the older style quieter and a bit more stable during climbing. The thing is a little heavier than some but rock solid in the tree. They have a magnum version to. They are a bit pricey but I think they' re the most comfy and stable going. Here' s a link. The CENTER SHOT is the new one. It' s a lot lighter but I think I' m going with the older style.
There is a company that makes a knock-off that looks just about like them... but after close inspection I find them lacking in the quality of work I see in the Buckshots.
