my draw weight for my ben pearson deer duster is at 63 pounds and when i draw back i must point it up just a little. what should i move it down to? and does anyone have any info on the ben pearson deer duster cause i would like some if any.

OK, first is this a 60-70 lb bow or is it 50-60 with the limb bolts bottomed out? If you don't know you may want to get to a pro shop. If you try backing out the limbbolts to reduce your draw weight you could have big problems if you go too far. When you do reduce the DW, reduce it to a poundage you can draw comfortably and without a lot of "extra" movement.

The only thing you want moving when you pull back is the arm pulling the string. If you struggle to get it back...needing extra movement...you need to back down the weight. Take it to a local pro shop...making sure you get it done correctly.

Watch how Craig morgan draws his bow on any of the Primetime Buck series videos if you want a good laugh. He points it to the sky and has a whole body aneurism while he draws. It is absolutely ridiculous and he obviously pulls way more than he can handle. Which is probably only 70# but hes such a scrawny freakshow that he has trouble with it.
