The rage is not a good choice for a fast bow (300 fps+) because they open before they strike the target causing erratic arrow flight.

If you're worried about it, get yourself a piece of dental floss or an orthodontic rubber band, and band them around the center. Problem solved, piece of mind achieved.

I will try that. I found out that they open early by test shooing the rage out of different bows with different speeds. The same arrow shaft every time. I set up the thing that you paper tune with in front of the target to see if they would open. Out of bows that shot over 300 fps, they opened early. I will have to try this again with the dental floss or rubber bands.

I know what you mean. I would love to be able to shoot a deer with my bow and have it drop right there like with a rifle. I think that a double lung full pass through with a rage would be my best chance. For now, I strongly recommend the grim reapers as far as expandable broadheads go.

Ya....up until recently (I got a new bow) I had to shoot fixed blade because my other one was so slow that it would loose too much speed while opening the head and wouldnt do enough damage.
