I found nothing. Worked my way into the bedding area and on my way out the other side, I think I saw him and a few doe trotting out across the field and into another timber patch. I cant say for sure, but I think it was him. He looked ok !
Absolutely not a gut shot. I saw the impact, watched the arrow hit square in the lungs. Perfectly placed right where the shoulder bone goes forward...
