I start vacation on the 28th for 18 days of horn hunting.

I can't believe all of you who said you'll spend full days in the stand!! I'm calling B/S on some of you. Man after 3 or 4 hours, I'm pretty well spent! Starting to think about an order of B & G and some hot coffee! I tell myself every year that I'm going to try an all day sit. Never have....................and knowing my track record.....................probably never will. For some dumb reason, when I'm not seeing deer from the stand, I immediately start thinking of all of the productive things that I could be doing around the house. I think I get it from my mom. She never could sit still for very long without thinking of what she "could be doing." Maybe I'll actually do it this year?!?

I'm off starting Halloween day until November 17th. I will be hitting it pretty hard.

You have to keep tough and keep hunting. If you aren't seeing deer, but it is the right time of the year, just one more hour on stand here and there could add up to a nice deer or two.

I have already started doing all day sits. Except for today (wind/rain), I'll be hunting every day until Nov 15th. It should be getting active next week. I said that about this week.[:@]
