carbon vs alloy

Default carbon vs alloy

after a recent new bow purchase i was told i should be shooting carbons is this true i used the easton arrow shaft selector and if im reading it correctly it still tells me that 2512 alloys are the lightest and fastest is this right??
i purchased a doz 350 redhead maxima hunter shafts are these better then alloys will my pins be closer together???

which will fly flatter????

any info appreciated

point weight 125 grain
shaft length 29 inch
vanes 2 inch blazers

Assuming thatyou have a 100 grain head and including that weight for the shaft, Maxima 350's will be about 395 grains,while 2512's will be about 475 grains (includes inserts, nocks and feltchings @29"). The variable you're not consideringare the inserts. The huge tip insert for the 2512 is 55 grains alone.

no im useing 125 grain head so the carbons will fly flatter and are lighter then
