How Many Stands?
#31
Now for those that have posted already I would be interested in seeing how many stands you all have up per the acreage of the land you hunt. For my father and me on my parents property, which is 40 acres, we have 3 ladder stands, 1 tower blind in the middle of our field, and 1 pop up blind. Since we hunt on our own property we have several buckets and lawn chairs sitting in heavily traveled areas for those spur of the moment sits in the out of the way spots.

I have 15 fixed position stands.I have 7 set in tree's right now. They are set, they have bow ropes from stand to first tree step, they have multiple bow hooks set in each tree.I much prefer walking in light and going right up the tree with not a lot of fuss and noise.
I do have a lone wolf alpha and 4 sticks that I just purchased this year and intend to float with it.A lot of my hunting takes me up some extended mountain side hills.Having all that stuff on your back has to be a PITA especially for morning hunts, the in the dark set ups.
I would be interested to hear your guy's opinions about this.
