Geez I'm having a cookout July 4th can I get a sticky??

Sounds cool AF but Iowa's not really to central to the masses.

So how much weight is on hitting the target....and how much is on time? Could a slow guy walk it and hit every bullseye and still win?

Sounds like softball!

Couldn't this be the Midwest GTG for the upcoming year?

I think this sounds like a great time. I really wish I could make the time to go AF - but the internship I'll be doing this summer will have me on the road 80% of the time as is. Good luck getting this together. If we could turn this into a larger GTG I may be able to finagle my way there

I have some friends who run and could probably get through the course in15 minutes w/o firing a shot. With the penalties it would be75 minutes. If someone made it through the course in 25 minutes and hit every bullseye adjusted time would be 1 minute. If someone else went through the course in 25 minutes and hit every target but only have the bullseyes, their final time would be 13 minutes. Accuracy counts and helps. I have walked the course before at a normal pace w/o bow and it took about 40 minutes. So, if someone walked at a normal pace and hit every bullseye, his final time would be 26 minutes. I'd say if you don't have accuracy, no matter how fast you can run, you won't even come close to winning, the winner will have to have both accuracy and stamina to come out on top.

If that sounds like softball to ya, come on out and show us how easy it is.

That'd be nice, but will the powers to be allow it out of Illinois?

Tune in again next week when you'll hear PT ask, "Can I wear shoes in Iowa?" and Gr8 ask "Ain't Iowa that state in western US where they grow potatoes?"

Don't know what you consider "central" but I just did a quick search and there are around 350 members from Iowa and surrounding states. I suspect there are more members out East, but I find it difficult to move my property to another state to make it more convenient for them and then not have it convenient for the people in the midwest.
