i tend to forget my back tag when switching seasons (camos/blaze orange). always a PITA to go back and get it. i will not go into the woods without one after the first time it happened and i met a game commissioner.

I forgot to pack extra batteries for my headlamp. I drove to the WMA, got my pack and stand on my back turned on my headlamp and nothing. I think it got swtiched on in my pack somehow. At first I though I was f'd. Then I thought, I do have my cell phone. It was still dark but there was barely enough light to where I could see when I was in the open. I had to use my phone to look for my blaze tacks, and then to get my stand put together and get up the tree. It worked though. Thanks God for cell phones. Didn't see anything though.

Boots for sure. I hunt the river and there have been many times where i dont grab my boots and get all the way there to teh boat ramp and realize it. depending on the time of year, its not always that bad. when its cold, thats a totally different story.
