Default Rain and pruning a shooting lane

OK today I finaly got a permission slip back
After sending it to Florida form Ohio , boy is tracking down a out of state land owner fun

Today I didsome quick low impact scouting

Foud 3 great spots and hunga stand
But spot #3 needs to have several branchs removed from the shooting lane and several branchs on both from stand trees #2 and #3

I was thinking as it is susposed to rain Wen. , that if I hung the remaining stands and did the pruning in or right before the rain
The rain would wash my scent away

Would it work , or am I off base
