Default Serving on bow string....

Ok I shoot a Mathews LX at 70lbs. I have archers choice string and cable on it but I now on the lower cam your serving wears... and I have had that re served but my question is have any of you Mathews shooters had the serving break on the cable rooler??? I don't get it cuz mine did... is it because I shoot to much??? or is it because of the weight I shoot???

Its not that odd of an occurance on a single cam bow. Particularly if it is an aggresive cam. My Marquis started having serving separation issues pretty early in the life of the string.

Have you looked to see if there might be a burr or sharp edge on the roller? that does seem like an odd place for a serving to break. Take a cotton ball and wipe the edges of the roller. If any of the cotton snags check that spot for a nick or burr.

If your string is 4 years old I bet its coming apart from being 4 years old!
