nice title huh? Simple enough.....

Who uses a kisser button? Why?
Who doesn't use a kisser button? Why?

I do as a consistant anchor point. May make up for lack of 'good form', but it works and I dont have to think about it. Im sure some others will say different and say practice good form, which I do, but that's the one thing Ive never tried to change. Not opposed to it, just never tried differently.

I personally dont like the kisser button. its an annoyance and slows the bow down 9fps along with other accessories. I would rather use put my right thumb behind my right ear. thats solid enough.

As long as you can find your anchor without it, there is no need. Some people like the reassurance of the button when anchoring. I personally don't use one.

I use one along with a peep. It just helps give me the piece of mind of having a solid anchor everytime.

Really??? Not that I don't believe you. Just surprised.

EDIT: I forgot to say that I use a kisser. I like the feeling of a solid anchor.

I use a small nose button. I can draw with my eyes closed and when I open them I'm dead in the middle of the peep. Helps in low light where it's hard to make sure the sight ring and peep are lined up. If I feel the nose button I know I'm right. I found it more positive for me when I have a mask on, especially a heavy one in cold weather.

Well on my bowtech commander jacked to 71# my bow with the stock brass knock and the rubber button to show the factory knock point brings the bow down to 303FPS and with a kisser it averages 293fps which sucks....so i removed it and took off the factory string silencers and put cat whiskers on cables and string seem to be getting 305FPS...so i dont know if its based on the bow and let off but i know i lost speed with my kisser.

i definitely use a kisser. along with a peep, and maker sure the string is always touching the end of my nose. solid, consistent anchor point every time. it has made my groups very tight.
