Default It's not too hard to let them walk.(W/ video)

I shot a spike last year with my bow, first buck with a bow at that, and it was enough for me, I dont think I'll ever have the desire to shoot aother spike unless it's the last day, and I havent killed a single deer. thats just me. Heres alittle video I took, I wa using one hand to film and holding my bow in the other, in hopes some of his buddies would be with him.

Im in the same boat, except I still havent taken a first buck with bow. I just dont have interest in shooting a spike or smaller 4-6 point....to each his own. I dont look down on those that do, just isn't my cup of tea.

It's really not hard, once you make up your mind what you really want to shoot, or get a chance to shoot. I let a basket 8pt walk (10yrds)tonight. I got some neat little video of him though, about 3mins worth. I also got some really cool footage of a fox, alsoat 10yrds. Fun night in the woods!

I plan on holding out for a minimum of 14" spread 8 point. That would make me more than happy.

Never took a buck with my bow yet, but hope to do so soon! Passed on a few small bucks last year, but have yet to see a good one this year. Has to be 4 on one side here in my part of PA. And that little spike kind of looked like a goat. lol

Cool video. Yea I just couldn't bring myself to shoot a spike. I haven't killed tons of deer, but that's just not me.

It is hard to pass on any deer when you havnt shot anything with your bow. I got a 5 point last year. That was my first buck kill with a bow. I passed on a few does last year in hopes the buck was in tow, but wasnt. The buck I got was all by him self. I have a few trail cam pics of an 8 point so he is my goal this year. GL to all, 10 more days for me
