Great write up and pictures. That cabin is nice! It looks like a great place to hunt. That 9 point looks mighty tempting to me. He's got some long main beams on him. I guess on managed land in Illinois though you know there are better ones out there. Can't wait to hear about your next trip.

Very nice write up and great pics. You guys were not too far from my hometown. I grew up in Macomb, IL. It is about 35 miles from Monmouth. There is some excellent hunting around there. You guys definitely need to go back there in Nov./Dec.

Ya we were hunting just northeast of Roseville close to HWY 116
