And I said to myself....I'll take the digital camera this time. Before I made it to the patch of woods I jumped this guy. He ran out to about 40yds and then I snapped this picture when he was about 10yds. He had about 6inch cpikes going straight up. He had a pretty good size body. How old do you think he is.

well I got a few bucks. Tell me your guys thoughts of how old they are. You may have to zoom in on one or 2.

what do you think age wise on these deer? Everything seems to be behind down here. The does are dropping late and the bucks seem to be behind a little.

My guess is that they are yearling bucks. Lack any sort of mass and very short, even for this early stage to be much in the horn department this season.
