thats is TOO FUNNY. the other day while i was in the tree i was thinking to take an old backpack and do the same thing, becuase the cheapo straps my summit comes with digs into my shoulders, i just didnt get around to it. nice to know someone else thought of it too and got to work on it. ill use those cables straps too, great idea. homedepot has those thingies for tying extension cables n stuff. ok guys. good work. always nice to magayver stuff.

Good idea. I have the LW assault and 4 sticks but plan on using a Tree Saddle most of the time so the only thing I'd have to pack in is the sticks. I played with my pack last night and got the sticks rigged on there similar to the way you've got the stand attached. I like to tinker
