I have been wearing the AB sport for years. On my 3rd pair. Favorite boots ever. Like wearing sneakers.

I'm on my 5th year with a pair of Alpha Burlys. I do like the boots. I was looking at the new Alpha Burlys and they seem a little heavier than my old ones. Still a great rubber boot that don't flop all around when you're walking. The neophreme lining and the straps to tighten the top are then nuts. FOr real fridgid weather I wear a pair of Danners or some real heavy insulated Rockys.

I just bought a pair of Alpha Burlys this on Friday.. I decided I wanted to try rubber boots for the first time in several years,, I always hated them,, but felt the need to try them again for scent prevention. I also had it in my mind that I would NEVER pay $100 for rubber boots,, and went to BP to buy a pair of cheap Red Heads and they had the Alpha Burly on sale,, I tried them on,, and took them home, they are the most comfortable boot Ive worn. I spent the last 3 days hunting in them and have to say they are great.. But they do stay wet inside for a while, you have to dry them out after hunting in them.

Tried a par of 1500’s last year when it was way cold, like minus 10-20 below 0. I got hot walking in them and cold when I sat in the stand. Feet froze literally!

I would dry them out with a boot dryer, change socks when I got to my stand, nothing worked so returned them. Only way I can hunt in cold weather with rubbers is when the temps are mild, like above freezing…

Thought they were heavy also, at 5 lbs that just to heavy for a long walk, maybe the lights would have been better in this department.

I did like the form fitting ankle support though! That felt great!
