My friend had issues with the Blades opening out while in flight , out of his 75lb X-Force while we were away . we tried every 2blade Rage BH he had and he had the same result everytime . Yet through mine shooting 65lb , i have no problems at all.
Anybody else experience this on high poundage bow ?

No worries, VA; when I was looking for a crossbow after surgery last October, I shot the Bowtech Stryker. I asked the pro-shop owner what mech heads people shot with that hoss and he said that the guys he had sold the Stryker to were shooting Rages and theydid just fine. If they'll hold up to a Stryker at 175 lbs/400 fps, you'll be fine.

And yes, this is coming from someone who absolutely will NOT shoot a Rage broadhead.

LOL, that is probably because of the X-force's VIOLENT shooting process. Its a wonder that poor friend of yours can hold onto that bow when he shoots it. Its liable to jump right out of your hand.

i love my rages! and wiggy if im correct you said she ran 3/4 of a mile with a rage, i'd have to say that its a terrible shot! musta been guts or something because 3/4 of a mile is a long ways... dont blame the broadhead for that one, you'll hafta blame yourself for making a bad shot.
I'm not saying it was the broadhead's fault, but it was a double lung shot. She was flat broadside, and I nailed her right behind the shoulder. I hunt a field, and they can cover a lot of ground in seconds. She had a perfect hole through both lungs. Still, she ran through our field, through the neighbor's bean field, and died in his neighbor's field. Good blood the whole way too. I've never had one run that far before, or after that.

diferent strokes for different folks, or deer i like a rage over a muzzy, for larger game I like the muzzy since it is a fixed blade.
