Mount a boat winch in the back of the truck. Or even rig up the winch on a board and put some brackets in the bed of the truck. Boat winches are super cheap, like $30 bucks, and will give you more than enough power to load a deer.

Why not just modify the jet ski trailer to act as a small trailer to haul stuff including deer??????? Seems easier to me to weld a bed and rails together, then to take it apart to build something different. I don't think the seat bracket will hold, you need something heavier duty.

I bought a "hitch hauler" it is abracketthat slides into your receiver. I carry it in the back of my truck all season then slide it in when I need it. It is plenty big to put a deer on. I hunt alone all of the time.I am able to put any deer on it by myself and take it to where I'll hang it.

I seem to remember saying you were trying to lose some weight. Get to a gym and do clean and jerks, and rowing. That will help you with dragging and lifting a deer. Kill two birds with one stone!

the ford was a 1990 f150 straight 6. There were some issues with it the cruise would not work and the speedo would bounce around. And the 4x4 had trouble disengaging. all due to a dumb mechanic. they are both gas.
The chevy's body is almost mint. there are a few issues with it but all cheap fixes.

Tim dont worry about it once you kill your deer you will have no problem getting that deer in the bed! Throw it in there!! If you have to stand in the bed and PULL it in with your drag rope, it's not as hard as your making it out to be!! Hunt now worry later!!

Good Luck
