Simply amazing. he is having one heck of a year. A big congrats goes out to him and his hunting partners. Awsome moose there. Im jealous of all you hunters who get to chase a variety of game each year, here in jersey its whitetail and turkey.Maybe next year ill get drawn for some moose. Time will tell. Once again, congrats.

at one point of their hunt they had 3 bulls close by one disappeared over back side of hill, one was not legal and they were trying to see if other was legal. My son's partner was calling, non legal bull started walking toward my son,he looked down and realized the trail the bull was on came next to tree he was standing next to. The bull kept coming and coming , my son could see the widest tine of the bulls rack was going to hit his shoulder at the current angle. as they almost collided (sp)he rolled his shoulder a couple inches foreward and the bull walked by barely missing his shoulder. still not knowing if 3rd bull was legal he stayed quiet and signaled to partners whether they got that on camera.....they were too stunned and did not[:@][:'(]

ROB, did you miss pix on page 1?
we took the meat from the 2 bow killed moose to processer yesterday. quarters and ribs in 1050 lbs[

had it all cut and wrapped in 4 hrs. will get "moose bacon(160 lps)" ; pepper sticks, summer sausagein 2 weeks
they cut and 4 of us wrapped.
my son's moose they got it late in day, gutted and opened covered with space blanket to keep rain out and then spruce boughs....when they came back 8-10 hrs later it had been found....one side brisket, rib and flank meat was gone....and both testicles[:-]
so much for proof of sex. best guess was a wolverine had found it.
