we took the meat from the 2 bow killed moose to processer yesterday. quarters and ribs in 1050 lbs[

had it all cut and wrapped in 4 hrs. will get "moose bacon(160 lps)" ; pepper sticks, summer sausagein 2 weeks
they cut and 4 of us wrapped.
my son's moose they got it late in day, gutted and opened covered with space blanket to keep rain out and then spruce boughs....when they came back 8-10 hrs later it had been found....one side brisket, rib and flank meat was gone....and both testicles[:-]

so much for proof of sex. best guess was a wolverine had found it.
