Default Tonight I saw "HIM"

Ok, hunters, first let me start by saying OH YEAH!! What a an evening hunt!
Thank God we live in a country where we have the freedom to go out and hunt,
now my Uncle Ted moment is over...

Wednesday afternoon I shot a doe. Tonight I went back out to my same area with Buck on my mind.
About an hour in I had a large body spike buck go by. Later I had 6 doe come through at about 30 yards.
One of the larger doe had a slight limp, so I thought I would take her if the shot was there. It did
not happen. Never had the perfect shot, so she and the others moved on.

About 6:00 across the power lines and up a ways to my right I see him.... this big Freak Nasty Monster
walks out with his rack shining in the sun... holy crap! This is the second largest buck I have ever seen in
the woods, and not just the rack, but huge body as well. I could not see how many points, he was about 100 yards away,
but man OH man... what a nasty looking non typical rack... it almost seemed as if he had 3 main beams and he was really
wide.

He was working the same rub line where I shot the 8 pointer on my wall, 1 year ago. So any questions where I will
be tomorrow evening? I am so pumped for tomorrows hunt. My wife & I run a business together. Tonight after telling her what I saw
she was all in... she was thinking about how we can get everything done early so I can leave her at the store
and head back out in the afternoon..... God bless that woman!
Until then,
DW
