Default Im looking for some opinions

First of all I am One very happy hunter. BIG DOE DOWN IN WI!!!

I Dropped a dressed out 120lb Doe last night with my Hoyt and Rage Broadhead. I cannot see why some people dislike these heads. The Rage Dropped her in her tracks, no tracking needed.

What i am looking for an opinion on is:

At about 6 pm last night i was hunting Earn a Buck WI and 2 yearlings come walking out. I wasnt gonna shoot them but then came mom. At 30 Yards she came out and made it her last fatal mistake. After I dropped her, her fawns took off and stopped about 50 yards away blowing. In the mean time there was another deer I never saw that was walking behind all 3 of these deer. The mystery deer never got a chance to come out of the thick becasue i shot the big doe in front of it.

What are the chances it was a buck? Would a buck be traveling with a doe and two yearlings this early? Will the buck come back after the shot noise, fawns blowing etc? One last thing is this deer made a loud blowing noise as well after the big doe died.

Please Give Some feedback.

I don't think it would be a buck but you never know. Be glad that you don't know and weren't in that positition. You didn't have to lay off due to the EAB.

The chances are 50 / 50 if it was not a buck it was a doe.

I'm still seeing last years buck fawns as 1.5 yo forks coming in with the doe and this years fawn. But he usually comes out before the doe.....
