Finally have power after 4 days without. The remnants of hurricane Ike hit my part of the midwest and 540,000 people in my area (Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana tri-state) were without power for 4 days. A 150 foot walnut tree uprooted and missed my truck by less than a foot. Ive never experienced winds like this. There are thousands maybe of tens of thousands of trees down, 3 people died in my area from being crushed by trees. I cant even imagine what it must have been like for ya'll down south where this thing came from. At least the Indiana bow opener is close, cuz all the rest of my venison from last year is spoiled. Come on October 1st, I'm hungry!
