Default Shoot Through Mesh?

Hunting out of a blind (Primos® Ground Max® Predator® Den Blind) for the first time this year and have a question about the shoot through mesh. Can you shot through the mesh at an angle should you be straight on when you the arrow go. Also I read the mesh should be really tight and some of them on this blind are alittle saggy. Any suggestions/help on this would be great.

Thanks
Ken

First, welcome! second, I have shot through the mesh on my blind,(YUKON TRACKS DOMINATOR),at a severe angle with no problem. I have also shot through it when it was a bit saggy so you shouldn't have a problem. If you have any doubts set it up in the backyard, get out a broadhead and a BH target and find out for sure! Again, welcome to the site!

I didn't think it would be a problem with the speed of the arrow but someone brought it up to me at work so figured I better check it out. I did harvest a doe out of it this weekend but my shot made me question a few things. Arrow hit behind the front shoulder but came out just in front of her back leg. I was sure she was broadside to me so either I really misjudged the angle or she jumped the string. After staying dry all weekend in a rain storm I have ordered another blind so when it gets here I will check just in case.

Thanks
Ken

That could be the problem. It may have opened when it passed through the mesh. Its generally recommended to use fixed heads for shoot through mesh or to leave the mesh open when shooting mechanical heads.
