Ohhh, sore topic. I live in the city (more or less) and can only hunt about once a week. Then Ihave to drive 220 miles round trip just to my friends' house whereI sleep. Then on hunting dayit's 40 miles round trip to the hunting spot. I figure about $280 per month.

It is a 650 mile round trip to our ranch, diesel is way up there and last time I went I pulled my camper....It won't be cheap but I would do it if it cost twice as much as it does. I have been staying longer each time I go up theresince the fuel has been so crazy and I plan on doing this during the season too. A round trip cost me about $200 and I will do it as often as I possibly can. A minimum of twice a month!!!!

when we go to our farm...its a good 45 min drive and it takes about 20 bucks to get there and back.

So if we go down almost every weekend for 5 months.....it can get pretty pricey[&:]

$000.00 - I walk to my stands (Priceless!)
I too am blessed with this situation. But it does cost about 25 bucks a month to fill up the quads, can't really complain.

Exactly. I'm leaving on an elk hunting trip this weekend and I'm guessing I will be out a few hundred bucks for fuel. Even if it was $400 I would still go, but it sure does hurt the checking account. I'll see what the total is when I get home and review my account, but until then I have other things to focus on....like big screaming bulls!
