Bought new arrows without researching, good?
Normally I would come to this site and do some research before buying new bow equipment and accessories, but was in bass pro yesterday and they had CX300 arrows with the short vanes for $69.99 and no line at the counter, so I bought them. I've been under the impression CX makes a good arrow but didn't have time to research. I guess it doesn't matter too much at this point b/c i own them, but wondered what you thought of them. I'll do some searches later this evening when i have time, b/c i'm sure they've been well reviewed.
Anyway, I don't know anything about the short vanes but with my whisker bisquit, the shorter, stiffer vanes will probably be good. The first shot revealed more twist than I'm used to, and like the other arrows, they hit the bullseye, so good start.
thx, dave

Buying a good quality product is rarely the wrong decision, and it sounds like you're just a little bit of fine tuning away from weeding the bugs out. More twist is usually a good thing too since it promotes flatter trajectory.
